Leg raises are a great way to train your legs, hips and lower abs. Simply lie down and lift your head and shoulders off the ground. Now raise your feet and start moving them up and down simultaneously (keeping your legs straight, but not locked).

For the leg raise to remain effective, don't get your legs up too high. In other words, the maximum angle between your legs and the ground should be about 75 degrees. If you go beyond that, you'll start to lose tension in your abs.
