Side Plank.php

Side planking is just like it sounds: planking on your side. Lean on one hand while turning your body to the side, and stack your feet - keeping your back and sides straight by engaging you leg and core muscles.

If this isn't a big enough challenge for you, you can extend your arm (the one you're not leaning on) and lift your top leg. This requires a better sense of balance. As a result, this little variation on the regular side plank will strengthen your core muscles even more.
